This electric door strike is certified to meet UL 294 and UL 1034 standards, ensuring high reliability and safety standards. It offers field-selectable options for fail-safe or fail-secure operation, making it adaptable to various security needs. Compatible with virtually any cylindrical door locking system, it supports integration with optional digital keypads for enhanced access control. Designed for office environments, its reversible non-handed design fits both right-hand and left-hand doors, while its shallow profile allows installation on most metal doors. Powered by a solenoid mechanism instead of a buzzer coil, it features a static strength of 1,000 lbs. and includes a stainless steel keeper for durability. The strike is tested to 250,000 cycles for longevity and features a non-polarized connection for simplified installation and maintenance.
