It provides automated ON and OFF control, as well as variable speed control based on temperature. So as things heat up, the fans turn on and increase their speed... then as the system cools down, the fans slow down and ultimately turn off when the temperature drops below the set points.

Important Note - For maximum performance, the TC-ALTv2 is designed to be used with products that contain a regulated power supply. If using it with products that have an unregulated power supply, 12V is not supported. The maximum variable voltage must be set to 9V or less.

Anywhere Mounting
A remote temperature sensor allows the control module to be mounted anywhere within 3’ while still getting accurate readings. Slots on the side allow for quick mounting to a cabinet or rack.
