The Haines family set out to create their dream high-end residential property, and this stunning six-bedroom Cambridge home was the breathtaking result. As keen entertainers, the owners wanted to ensure their home was fit for a variety of parties and gatherings. They wanted a home that met their technology needs now but could still be added on and updated in the future, and the Control4 Smart Home OS and Control4 Smart Home Pro provided them with exactly what they wanted. From an award-winning home cinematic experience to custom lighting scenes throughout the home, no detail was overlooked by the Control4 Certified Showroom team that brought this project to life.
Open kitchen features connected audio distribution, touchscreen home control, and custom automated lighting control and design—including specialty lighting scenes for kitchen use.
Modern master bathroom complete with motorized/automated shades, discrete in-ceiling speakers for audio distribution, whole-home touchscreen control, and automated lighting.
Contemporary living room flowing into the dining and outdoor entertainment areas with personalized lighting and audio design, Control4 system voice control and preset switch scenes, universal remote access to the TV and home, touchscreen intercom station, HVAC system control throughout the whole home, and B&O BeoLab speaker system with a Yamaha DS-5600 soundbar and subwoofer to enhance this flexible space.
Hallway into several areas of the home with audio coverage extended to all communal areas, a variety of keypads for easy home control, and touchscreens/handheld remotes throughout the property to control the audio, video, and security seamlessly.
Dedicated luxury home cinema in the attic with Dolby Atmos 3D audio system, Sony 4K projector, a cinematic acoustically transparent screen, front row home cinema seating, Control4 7″ touchscreen control, and Control4 lighting systems as part of the wider Control4 systems deployed throughout the house. This theater won the CEDIA Best Home Cinema Level 2 award in 2018.
